The founders

Peter Koen is an Emeritus Associate Professor in the Stevens Institute School of Business. He founded the Consortium for Corporate Entrepreneurship in 1998 and served as its director, leading research aimed at improving the success of transformational and disruptive products, services, and new businesses. His research focuses on the organizational structures, processes, and practices that enable transformational and disruptive innovation in large organizations. More recently, his work has focused on how Generative AI is reshaping these processes and creating new opportunities for corporate innovation.

Peter has published extensively on the Front End of Innovation (FEI), coined the term “Front End of Innovation,” and founded the Front End of Innovation conference, which became a leading practitioner forum in the field. Peter holds a B.S. and M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from New York University and a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from Drexel University.

Michael G. Jacobides is the Sir Donald Gordon Professor of Entrepreneurship and Innovation and Professor of Strategy and Entrepreneurship at London Business School. His research focuses on strategy, innovation, and digital transformation, including how AI is reshaping firms’ value propositions, organizational design, industry structures, and the ecosystems through which companies compete and create value. He combines academic research with practice, advising senior leadership teams of Fortune 500 companies and scale-ups as Lead Advisor at Evolution Ltd., and serves as an Academic Advisor to BCG’s Henderson Institute.

Michael has published extensively in leading academic journals and has been recognized since 2019 among the world’s top 50 management thinkers. He has also contributed to policy and public debate, including as Chief Expert Advisor on the Digital Economy at the Hellenic Competition Commission, a Visiting Scholar at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, and a member of the World Economic Forum’s AI Governance Alliance. Michael holds a B.Sc. from Athens University of Economics and Business and an M.A. and Ph.D. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Tucker Marion is an Associate Professor of Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Northeastern University, with a joint appointment in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering. His research and industry work focus on innovation, new product development, digital engineering, and the use of generative AI to improve how organizations design, develop, and commercialize new products. He has worked extensively with large companies and government organizations on innovation strategy, AI-enabled product development, and organizational transformation. Marion is also an entrepreneur and co-founder of Tadavo, an AI platform focused on improving product development decision-making.

Anan Sheth is an Assistant Professor of Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Cal Poly’s Orfalea College of Business. His research and industry work focus on how large, established companies pursue transformational innovation, build risk intelligence, and create new sources of growth. He works closely with corporate innovation leaders to bridge academic research and managerial practice, with a growing focus on how AI is reshaping organizations.
